I have known Sila & Tecla for more than half a decade. so when Sila called me sounding a bit nervous about something, I knew it had to be big. Little did I know it would be the day that his manliness will have to be tested and his knees dirtied, as a man has to bend the knee and show the world who he wants to be with him for ‘better and for worse’.
Since it was a surprise shoot, I had set up the light in a way that is hidden and I (personally) had slept on the floor to hide while they entered the room. The problem was she was just too smart for all of that and I got caught the minute he gave me the code word to wake up and take pics.
But I never lost hope and pursued better shots. If Rome wasn’t built in a day, my photography cannot end with just the initial picture.
